Our senior management team has significant experience within technology and software, government contracting, project management and talent/recruiting.  Our previous experiences include tenures at AMRDEC, Boeing, Booz Allen Hamilton, deciBel Research, Department of Defense (multiple agencies), Department of Homeland Security, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, Omicron, Oracle, QinetiQ Group, SAIC and University of Alabama-Huntsville.

Uniquely, our senior management team is equipped with deep subject matter proficiency from a technical and project management perspective. This has provided us with a strong understanding of, and appreciation for, the needs of our government clients.

Dr. Anthony Orme, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Orme founded OASYS in 2010 and currently serves as Chairman and CEO.  Dr. Orme has over 30 years of experience in software engineering and enterprise solutions.  He also has prior experience as a Principal Research Engineer and Instructor at Oracle.  Dr. Orme has a Ph.D. in computer science from University of Alabama-Huntsville.

Dr. Greg Bacon, Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Bacon currently serves as the Company’s Chief Technology Officer. He was previously Co-Founder and President of Omicron Research Corp. and has held a broad range of senior technical positions at Boeing, QinetiQ Group and deciBel Research. Mr. Bacon has 25 years of experience in software engineering and program management. He holds B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from University of Alabama-Huntsville.

Chad Leathers, Chief Growth Officer

Mr. Leathers has over 20 years of government contracting experience in business development & capture, corporate strategy, operations and recruiting with a focus on Department of Defense and Federal civilian customers.  He was most recently a Director of Business Development & Capture with SMX Technologies LLC/Trident Technologies LLC, and was previously Chief Operating Officer with OASYS, INC.  He has also previous experience at Brockwell Technologies and Tech USA.  Mr. Leathers received his B.S. degree in marketing from University of Alabama-Birmingham.

William Newby, President

Mr. Newby has nearly 30 years of government contracting experience having worked in a variety of senior leadership roles within business development, operations, and program management, primarily focused on Department of Defense and aerospace programs.  He served in several roles at SMX Group, most recently as Vice President of Operations, and previously as Vice President of Business Development.  Mr. Newby also held senior positions with Trident Technologies, OASYS INC., Vencore Inc., and QinetiQ North America.  He began his career as a System Analyst for COLSA Corporation. Mr. Newby holds a B.S. degree in business from Tennessee Tech University.
